Captain Kevin Laaksonen is a licensed charter captain and owner of Finsation Sport fishing charters. Throughout his childhood, Kevin spent his summers on Lake Michigan fishing for Salmon and Trout with his Dad and first mating for various Charter boats. At age 18 Kevin became a licensed Captain and continued to spend his summers fishing while attending college in Kalamazoo, MI . Kevin is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he received his Masters Degree in Business Administration. In 2000 Kevin purchased a 31’ Tiara and named it “Finsation.” Having spent much of his life fishing on the Great Lakes, Kevin has become a seasoned veteran in the sport of Tournament Fishing.  Fishing has become a family tradition for Kevin, his wife Linda and their three children Joshua, Britney and Meagan. Their entire family enjoys spending time in various harbors and meeting new friends along the way.
